Five Anchor ponies went to the show, four first-timers and one old pro…

Anchor Jampuff who has previously won here and been champion at Cheshire county. Our filly foal Anchor Mounsey Maid was moved up to stand second and Anchor Moonstone was third and best colt moor bred foal.┬áThis year’s fillies have proved a challenge to handle but behaved well. In the age classes, we took Anchor Labyrinths Lord in the yearlings. He showed well but was unsettled in front of the judge so ended second after his pull in first position…┬áNever mind there will be plenty more shows for this chap who we rate very highly and are certainly aiming to keep entire.

Anchor Kindness, our beautiful two-year-old, who has not shown till now, due to an injury as a foal, took her strong two-year-old class and Female champion. She was bred by us out of old Anchor line mare owned by Maddie and by her imported stallion Apples Original who we have had on loan and we have a very special big colt by him in the wings as well.

Anchor Jampuff our very well thought of three year old showed her socks off to secure her first place and reserve female champion placings. To finished the day before the angelic Christmas exmoor angel came into the ring. Anchor Kindness was crowned Supreme of Show.

Thank you to Peter and Judy coles and all others who have given the fab photos
